Just over a year ago, Cuyana officially launched. We've come a long way since then! One year ago, we were working out of our CEO Karla's dining room; now, we have a new, spacious showroom in San Francisco's Union Square. One year ago, we were creating our India collection; now, we have 7 beautiful collections from trips to Ecuador, Peru, India, Argentina, Japan, Mexico and Turkey. One year ago, we launched our weekender bag; now, based on the weekender's continued success and overwhelming customer demand, we've launched a smaller version, the overnight bag.
At Cuyana, we design our collections in San Francisco, but travel the world to find the most premium materials and expert craftsmanship for the creation of our products. We have traveled to Ecuador for its straw, Peru for its alpaca, Argentina for its leather, Japan for its ceramics, Mexico for its color and embroidery techniques, and Turkey for its cotton and silk. We dedicate each season to a different country, and share the travel and making story of our collections through beautiful photography and video with our customers.
